Losing weight is a mission that most of us want to achieve. We are fighting the extra weight because we gain it very easily. After some researching that scientist at the Iranian University of Medical Sciences has done, they came to a conclusion that the cumin powder makes the whole difference when it comes to acceleration of the metabolism and the improvement of our look.
They had two groups. Each of the groups consisted of 44 women and all of them had extra pounds. The research lasted for one month. The point was for the ladies to have 500 calories less than their usual diet.
The only difference between the both groups was the use of the spice cumin in one of the groups. And, the results were amazing – those ladies who had their nutrition with cumin powder in a glass of yogurt in a month lost 20 pounds and that was due to the phytosterols that this spice is rich with. Cumin actually immobilizes the retention of the cholesterol in our body. And yes, cumin improves our metabolism.
